Simply amazing as always. I can't believe how well done this is. You created a feeling of being there unlike anything I have felt from a painting in a long time. You could use just a little work on your deer, but other then that all my comments are only good things. I love how realistic the flowers and over all atmosphere is. They're beautifully done. Keep up the good work and try adding a little more white to the water. It might give it an even better look ^^ p.s. I love your art soooooo much! You have such skill and talent, you can go far.
Color and detail are the main features of this image, both of them strong. The artist has used a mixture of colors to pleasing effect, such as the clumps of blue flowers in the smaller waterway between the green trees and the different colored flowers amid the grass on the right-hand bank. In the foreground are green trees, while in the background are tall purple fronds.
I particularly like the detail, including the different shapes used to make this a very noticeable image. The rounded plants in the front lower left corner next to the flatter clumps of blue and then the patches of red and purple in the right corner, together with taller stalks and the tree stumps. The smaller tufts of grass next to the small waterway and the flat green on the other side, compared to the thick clumps of grass in the right corner. The far bank of the main stream consisting of visible stones, while the near side appears to be just the thick grass. There are the trees themselves, at various angles, with patches of detail and/or color eveywhere, like the red eyes peering out of the trunk of one tree, or the nest in another with three small birds peering out, or clumps of purple on other trees.
The stag is well sited, the centrepiece, just above the path that leads to the small wooden bridge. The use of light is very good, highlighting the background so that it is not uninteresting, and then shining through the forest to highlight the stag and the bank to where the bridge leads.
This is a particularly outstanding image that would serve as an excellent cover for a book.
This really is a beautiful piece. The only thing that doesn't appeal to me is the "vibe", I guess. By no means am I an expert, and I know some people might disagree with me, but it's just that it doesn't radiate, if that makes sense. I feel there should be some features of your piece that you should maybe define to really give it that feeling of depth. As of right now, it's as if I'm just staring at another piece of art. I hope I wasn't too harsh, it is a very stunning piece.~
